Krystal LaFianza-Pitzen Actress/Comedian
Krystal LaFianza-Pitzen fell in love with the stage at the ripe age of 11 years old and has been performing happily ever after. She hails from the Old Line State, Maryland, where she earned her B.A. in Theater Performance from the University of Maryland. While studying she was cast in University of Maryland’s sketch comedy group, Sketchup, and became entranced with writing and performing comedy which lead her to Chicago in 2005.
Krystal is the first place winner of Whizbang! A Stand-up Comedy Competition, was a finalist in Shenanigan’s Comedy Challenge and the Chicago RedEye recommended Krystal’s one-woman comedic cabaret, Tits and Bits as a “not-to-miss solo show.” Tits and Bits is currently on hold because she is busy co-producing two hilarious shows…
The Blackout Diaries is a multimedia show full of outrageous drinking stories where the audience can ask questions and there are no stupid question. The show has featured Jim Belushi, Pete Holmes and its creator Sean Flannery of Comedy Central’s Mash Up. Every Saturday at The Lincoln Lodge at 8pm.
The Gogo Show is an all female comedy show on the third Saturday of each month at The Lincoln Loft at 8pm.

About Krystal’s Hair: It is naturally curly but not naturally blonde. It has gotten caught in a desk fan, a hot dog roller and a lot of buttons.
